What This Is
Before our advisory board gets together in person, we want to better understand your perspective and which relationships you think can be most impactful to our mission.
This is a short conversation with an AI facilitator built just for the Resilient States Project. It listens, asks follow-up questions, and gives you room to think out loud. It may seem strange at first, but most people find they cover more ground than they would in any form. AÂ human team will listen to every response, and what you share will feed directly into how we design our in-person conversations.

Not a test. Not a survey. Not a Rolodex handover.
There are no right answers. Say what you actually know, that's the only thing that makes this useful.
What To Expect
Plan to call for 20 to 30 minutes. Do it in one sitting, in a place where you can speak freely without being overheard. You'll be speaking with an AI interviewer (it can feel a little unusual the first time). It will ask you questions, listen, and follow up where something is worth going deeper on. You can join from your phone or computer. Headphones help.
If you think of someone or something after you hang up, you can call back within the listening window and add to what you shared. (Just tell mosAIc that you have previously called and want to share additional information so it doesn't re-ask any of the questions you have already given responses to.)
Your Privacy, Simply Explained
Only mosAIc's internal team reads full transcripts (their names are Jonah, Rachael, and Xavier). No one else.
What reaches the Common Ground USA team and the network is a map organized by sector, region, and relationship strength. You decide whether your own name appears on it. During the conversation you'll be asked whether you're comfortable being identified as the person who can reach a given group or place. If you'd rather not be named, your relationships still count toward the network's picture, just without attribution.
Your conversation is stored securely for 30 days while we work, then deleted. It is never shared with third parties and never used to train AI.
Quick Tips For A Successful Call
Speak Naturally
Talk the way you would to a person. Full sentences work better than short fragments.
Give It A Moment
Wait until the voice stops before you respond. Talking at the same time can confuse it.
Find A Quiet Space
Background noise affects how well it hears you. A closed door and headphones make a real difference.
You're In control
If a question doesn't land right, just say so. Tell it to rephrase or take the conversation somewhere else. It will follow your lead.
Think Wider Than Your Title
Before you call, take a minute to think about the groups you're part of outside of work: your congregation, a board, a league, the people who'd take your call at 9pm. Those count.
Think Local
Pennsylvania is big. A relationship in Scranton and Harrisburg are not the same thing. Tell us where your reach actually lives.

FAQ
A few things that help:
- Use Chrome on a laptop or desktop if you can — it gives the most stable connection.
- If you're on your phone, stay on either WiFi or cellular for the whole call — switching between them mid-conversation will drop it.
- Turn off any VPN before you start.
- Keep the browser tab you used to open this page open the whole time (including the site you navigated from) — closing it can end the call unexpectedly.
If you do get disconnected, click the link again to start a new call. The interviewer won't remember your previous conversation, so when it greets you, say something like:
"I was previously disconnected. My name is [your name] and the last question you asked me was about [topic]. Please take me back to that point in the conversation."
It will follow your lead from there.
Once the window closes, our team spends about 48 hours building the network map from across the group: reach by sector, coverage by region, and where relationships are warm, cold, or missing. Common Ground USA staff use that to prepare the convening. Audio is deleted right away; transcripts are kept securely for 30 days, anonymized unless you opt in, then deleted.
We've tried mapping this in meetings and on shared docs, and it hasn't worked: too rushed, too public, too easy to skip. A private conversation gives you room to think, and lets you decide what gets attached to your name.

Whether your name is attached to your relationships is your choice, and you'll be asked directly during the conversation. Nothing you say about risks, concerns, or hesitations is attributed to you.
Yes. Your data is encrypted, stored on a private server, and never shared with third parties. The platforms we use operate under commercial privacy terms that prohibit using your content to train AI models.
No problem. Just click the link again and start a new conversation. mosAIc won't remember your previous session, so give your name again and pick up from where you want to go. Nothing is lost by starting fresh.
No. Describe the group, the place, and how strong the relationship is. If you're comfortable naming someone, you can, but it's never required.
Yes. Call back any time before your deadline . Give your name, say you're adding to an earlier conversation, and share what you remembered.
Connect your AirPods before tapping the call link, not after. If they're already in call mode when the session starts, the switch has already happened and it works fine.
You can get your AirPods into call mode by:
On iPhone: Go to Settings → Bluetooth → tap the ⓘ next to your AirPods → confirm they appear as Connected. Then tap the call link.
On Android: Go to Settings → Connected devices → Bluetooth → tap your AirPods → confirm they show as Active. Then tap the call link.
Already connected and still having trouble? Remove one AirPod and use your phone's built-in speaker and mic instead.
When the conversation is active you'll see a visual indicator on screen. If it looks frozen, refresh the page and start again.
The conversation: Your voice conversation is powered by ElevenLabs, a secure conversational AI platform. Your audio is processed to generate responses in real time, is not shared with third parties, and is governed by ElevenLabs' privacy policy and terms of use.
The synthesis: After your conversation, our team uses Anthropic's Claude, accessed through their commercial API, to help synthesize themes across all responses. Under commercial API terms, Anthropic does not use your data for model training. All content passed through for synthesis has already been stripped of identifying information.
Technical Troubleshooting
When the page loads, your browser will ask for permission to use your microphone. Select "Allow." If you missed that prompt, click the small camera or lock icon in your browser's address bar and enable microphone access, then refresh the page.
Check that your device volume is turned up and not muted. Headphones or earbuds tend to give the clearest experience.
This is usually a connection issue. Move closer to your wifi router if you can, close any other browser tabs or video calls running in the background, and try again.
Try opening it in a different browser. On iPhone, Safari works best. On Android, use Chrome. On a computer, Chrome or Edge are the most reliable choices.
